Grievance Process

Dear Valued Resident(s):

We want to welcome all of our new residents as well as thank existing residents for choosing to make Franciscan Vistas Ewa your home. We are confident you will enjoy living here.

St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii employed Indigo Real Estate Services to manage Franciscan Vistas Ewa that includes an on-site team to oversee the operations of the community.
However, if you do have a complaint the on-site Business Manager does have decision making authority. Part of the Business Manager’s job is to listen to the concerns and provide information to the residents. If you are not happy with the decision with the Business Manager's decision, the step is to take your issue to the Investment Manager who has final approval or disapproval of all issues. Your grievances needs to be in writing and mailed to Indigo's Home Office where the Investment Manager will receive your letter. The Investment Manager will respond to the letter first with a phone call to the resident. Once the Investment Manager has talked to the Business Manager and the resident and the issues are resolved, a letter will be sent to the resident with a copy of the letter sent to the Business Manager to be placed in the resident's file. This response will happen within 48 hours of receiving the resident’s letter.

Address your letter to:
Indigo Real Estate Services, Inc.
“Franciscan Vistas Ewa”
Attn: Investment Manager
7525 SE 24th St., Suite 408
Mercer Island, WA 98040

If you prefer email, contact the Franciscan Vistas Ewa office for the correct contact. This process will ensure that all concerns are addressed in a timely fashion. The Sisters of St. Francis, their members, directors, and employees should not be interrupted with phone calls, emails and un-announced visits regarding resident complaints. We must respect their decision with management of Franciscan Vistas Ewa. Mahalo for you cooperation in this matter.

Sincerely,

Kathy McAlister
Business Manager
